Borrowing Services

1. Readers can borrow books with your “Campus Card of Yangtze University”.

2. Book borrowing volumes: Readers can borrow 10 books with a card at one time.

3. Book borrowing period: The faculty can borrow books for 90 days, and other readers can borrow books for 60 days.

4. Readers can renew books for one time, and the renewal period is 30 days. The renewal procedure can be done by logging into “My Library” on the library’s homepage or the library’s WeChat public account, or re-borrowing books through the self-service machine at the library.

5. If readers want to increase the borrowing volumes or extend the borrowing period, they can apply to the office of library at each library and go through the borrowing procedures after being approved by the librarian’s office.

6. Readers shall return the books on time. If one book is overdue, no other books can be borrowed. The library will carry out the work of book recall service. If there is no reason for refusing to return books after repeated reminders, the library will take measures such as suspending the reader’s qualification.

7. Readers are responsible for all books checked out until they are returned. According to the library compensation regulations, readers must pay for any loss or damage to books they borrowed.
